Join the Team as a Baseball/Softball Umpire with Arizona Youth Sports!

Are you passionate about sports and looking for a rewarding way to make a positive impact in your community? Arizona Youth Sports, based in Mesa, AZ, is seeking enthusiastic and self-motivated Baseball/Softball Umpires to join our team! Whether you're experienced or just starting out, we’d love to have you on board as we work together to inspire young athletes and promote sportsmanship.

What You'll Do

As an umpire with Arizona Youth Sports, you’ll play a vital role in creating a safe, fair, and enjoyable environment for players, coaches, and families. Your responsibilities will include:

• Officiating baseball and softball games in the East Valley.
• Enforcing rules and maintaining the flow of the game.
• Communicating effectively with players, coaches, and other officials to ensure fair play and sportsmanship.
• Supporting the league’s mission to build character and inspire excellence through sport.

What We’re Looking For

We’re not just looking for umpires—we’re looking for team players who share our passion for youth sports. Here’s what makes a great fit:

• A love for baseball and softball.
• A self-motivated attitude and enthusiasm for working with young athletes.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to fairness.
• No prior officiating experience required—we’ll train you!

Schedule and Pay

• Game Days: Saturdays only, with general hours between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM (depending on location).
• Flexibility: We understand life can get busy and are open to providing some flexibility when needed.
• Pay Rate: Starting at $16/hour and up to $45/hour, with experienced umpires eligible for negotiated rates.
